Fall, 2025 Meetings and Seminars

The final details for the classes to be offered at the fall training have not yet been determined, but the location and dates have been.  This year’s fall training will be held at the Radison Blu in Fargo on September 17th-19th.  A block of rooms is being held until August 18th, 2025.

As is usual, the executive and general membership meetings will be held on the first day.  This site will be updated with class details when they are available.

Fall 2022 Meeting and Seminar Details

The Fall, 2022 NDBOA Meetings and Seminars will be held September 28, 29, and 30 at the Radisson Blu in downtown Fargo.  A block of rooms has been set aside for NDBOA attendees so make your reservations as soon as possible.  Lunch is provided both days.  The schedule will be as follows:

Fall 2021 Seminar Information

The Fall, 2021 NDBOA meetings and education seminars will be held September 28-October 1 at the 4 Bears Casino & Lodge in New Town.  The Executive Board and General Membership meetings will be held Wednesday, September 28th.

The fall seminars will concentrate on significant changes between the 2018 and 2021 code editions.  Specifically, the class on Thursday, September 29th, will cover the IRC.  The training on Friday, October 1st, will take a look at the IMC and IFGC.

Spring 2021 Meeting and Education Details

The Spring, 2021 gathering is on!  It will be held at the Radisson in downtown Bismarck from April 7th-9th.   The registration form and the full flyer are available below.

The Executive Committee and General Membership meetings will be held Wednesday at 1 and 3 respectively.  The classes offered will be:

2021 IBC Significant Changes
This 6 hour seminar reviews and analyzes selected significant changes from the 2018 IBC® to the 2021 IBC®. Discussions will assist code users in identifying the specific code changes that have occurred, and more importantly, understanding the reason behindthe change. Finally, it explains those code changes selected due to their frequency of application, special significance or change in application.

Friday, April 9th
2018 IEBC Essentials
This seminar will introduce critical concepts of the 2018 International Existing Building Code® (IEBC®). It will provide a basis for the correct use and application of the code. It will build an understanding of the intent of the code through detailing basic tables, categorizations and a case study.
